hmm, its bugging the heck outta me lol.
so i go to start up the car, push in the clutch, press the brake and turn it to the on position. then i go to start it, and i get the starter turning like once, then my volt gauge slowly goes below 8. i pop the hood, everything is tight on the batt. so i go to look back at the gauge, and it now reads 12. so i go to start it up again and the same thing happens. WTF?? so i go to check it again, and this time i loosen them all the way, and put them back in. and it starts right up. wth happend? this ever happend to anyone other than me??

Classic indication of a bad connection.
This is why volt gauges are such agreat addition to the car.
You had a high resistance (Bad connection) which dropped the 12volts to 8 or less on attempted start(Lots of amps x resistance =volts dropped).
I assume the "them" was the cables, which you loosened all the way and then retightened-cleared your bad connection.
