so i just bought this 97 LS sedan for 1500 bucks. needed a new motor. so the guy droped it in.

heres my problem. the 4th40 trans (if thats the right code. 4spd auto) is now clunking/jerking into and thru the gears.

i just crawled under it to look at all that and i realized that some of the tranny bolts aren't fully threaded in. i was tring to get a good look at the mounts to see if they were busted by i can't really see them, or if they were threaded all the way as well.

when looking over the engine tring to clean up the bay today, i found the 02 sensor wire not hooked up, and now the bolts on the trans to block not all the way on.

what are the chance that this may be my problem, or that it lies somewhere else.

the trans has 130K on it

and its a 99 ld9 motor, and a 97 ls 4speed auto trans.
