you huys have probally been asked this 100+ times but my engine is making a ticking noise when i start my car but goes away after like 3 min how do i stop it and what is it

Could be pistons 'rocking' in their bores until warmed up and expanded to size. There's a TSB out on this. Not harmful if moderate (like yours), but can effect efficiency if more severe (continues to tick). Remedy is to install sized pistons -- BIG$$$, but free if car is under warranty. Just take it easy on yer 'ride until warmed up.
