Basically trying to find info on AC Condensors. Such as dimesnions, how they work, to get a basic understanding of them.

I want to know specifically if a smaller condensor from another vehicle can be used on a 3rd Gen. Or if the stock one can be modified at all.

Any sources of info will help me out so I can start reading up on it.

changing the size of the condensor will effect the way the a/c works , also youll have to figure out exactly how much freon youll need to use

Look at the split-system stuff... it's just like the car. The condenser is where the heat is dissipated from the refrigerant. The pump is driven by the belt, and the cooling unit is in the airbox inside the dash.

If you went to a smaller condenser, you'd have less cooling capacity .... ie it wouldn't work as well.

What exactly are you trying to achieve here?

After switching to the Sylvia Headlights the back of the lights dont leave enough room for the condensor.

In other words the ends of the condensor hit where the back of the light's housing is.

And its only by 3 inches or so.

So Im working on a way to keep both. actually the conversion is done so Im looking for a way to keep the AC.
