I got my codes pulled today I got 4 of them, my car has stalled on me twice, once when I was parked during the winter and once when I was backing up on a street. I also have a slight problem with fuel economy, i'm getting like 19-20mpg, but I still got spark plugs to change. Maybe this might be causing the fuel economy problem also!
These codes were registered:
DTC P0113 Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit High Voltage
DTC P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Circuit High Voltage
P1298 - pending - Listed as a Lean operation at WOT
DTC P1509 Idle Speed High - Idle Air Control (IAC) System Not Responding
I have no CEL and my car is a 2001 Cavalier 2.4 what do you guys think the problem could be?
anyone the car has about 55k miles on it and Ive had it since Jan 2005?
DTC P0113 Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit High Voltage
The computer monitors every sensors voltage, if it goes to far above or below a set limit it will throw a code.
DTC P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Circuit High Voltage
The computer monitors every sensors voltage, if it goes to far above or below a set limit it will throw a code.
The sensors could be bad, would be my first guess. You need a scan tool to monitor voltage of them.

i had the same code. thats funny because mine make my cel come on. check the harness going to the sensor. i replaced my sensor thinking it was that but it turned out to be a broken wire on the harness.
Finding the broken wire is gonna be a pain theres so much in there, I got 2 to deal with. I woncer if these things are still broken?
