3rd gen Ecu HELP!!!
Tuesday, July 05, 2005 2:41 AM
hi i have a question that no one has been able to answer, anyway here it is. Im moving my cavy out of the country and i have been told that the ecu can be simply changed to Km/h so that the trip and milage will be in kilometers then all i have to do is replace my gauge faces. Does anyone have thoughts on this?

If we knew what year your car was, we'd be better able to help.

Your gauges already have km's listed on them, don't they? I don't think other countries have size requirements for how they're shown.

You don't need to replace your ECU. Depending on what year you have, its as simple as swapping out clusters, or might be a bit more difficult. The ECU doesn't have anything to do with what units your cluster is displayed in.
