Here is my problem........

Over here in New Zealand, I have no access to brand new parts at a good price, I mean i can get an intake gasket for around NZ$160, but i would rather wait for hell to freeze over before i pay their extemely marked up prices...

So........

Could any one help me by scanning a gasket and sending me a copy so i can make my own or any advise would be great.

The reason i need a gasket is because i plan to be the first person in New Zealand to put on an HO manifold and i need the template to port the manifold.

the 2.4 gasket is alot different than you think

its plastic with rubber o-rings , and doent have bolt holes on it , cause it locates itself on the intake manifold it self

you need to use the 2.3 gasket , and port match it to the 2.4 humps , and elongate the 4 of the bolt holes , in the same maner you match the 2.3 intake to the 2.4 head

You really can't use the 2.4 "gasket" as a template, since it doesn't have a real great outline of where to cut. I tried, and ended up cutting the 2.3 gasket way too large, resulting in a huge vac leak.
