to gap? or not to gap?

ok so i bought ngk irridiums they apparently dont have to be gapped. however ichecked them anyways and found they were at .033and .055 and .062 and .060 so im assuming they should be set at .060 only problem is that the haynes manual says for 2.4l's 98 and up should be set at .050 can someone tell me what to gap them at .050 or .060?

i decided gap them at .050 and installed them . they seem to work fine and the bosh platinum 4's that came out they looked frosted on the ends and theres a bit of carbon on them . mabye the bosh's suck ass after all
