Car is 1996 2 door Sunfire 2.2
Looking for any ideas on a better O2 manifold sensor.
The car failed the emissions test the other day. O2 sensor was bad.
I purchased a new one from the Pontiac dealer and installed it.
The car still fails. The engine analysis indicates the O2 sensor is fluctuating the voltage too fast and is out of range. The curve it produces is also very erratic. I understand to forget Bosch, but are there any others out there that might be more reliable than the OEM? Or do I just bite the bullet and dish out the big bucks for another one from the dealer and hope the next one is better.
