I have a 2002 cavalier 2200. When Im in my garage or next to a car or wall I can hear a clicking noise from the engine. I thought it might be a misfire but I dont know. I checked the plugs and wires and they seem fine. What do you think the problem might be. It seems that the clicking gets faster at higher rpm
it's normal.
Don't spend any money on that ticking cause any 2.2 has it. my 91 2.2 has it, my father 98 has it and the dealership 02 2200 has it too.

Its good to know that nothing is wrong. I did a search just wasnt sure what to search for
i had a bad clickin nose comeing from mine.. i thought it was a nosiey lifter. but then my timeing chain let go driveing to work a few weeks a go.. well need to say i need a nother new head for my car.. and my mother had a 2002 2.2 and hers never maid any clicking noses or anything like that tell we had to replace the head gaskiet
