Any new word yet on when/if Mobil1 is coming out with an oil filter for the Ecotec. I know this has been asked before, several times, but just lookin to see if there was anything new.

hm can u really use that thing and not change ur oil for 7k miles? .. i wouldnt anyway i usually change mine about every 2500 anyway but that seems weird i mite be looking into that sometiem soon anyone use it?
I don't know if you can actually change every 7k miles since I dont know of anyone who have used them yet. I was thinking about giving it a try. Just make sure if you are having someone else do your oil change they dont pitch it and install a new paper filter. Wal-Mart will change your oil for 16 bucks if you bring your own oil and filter.
