how do you do a compression test, i mean so fuel doesn't flood the engine while i crank it over?
what r the torque spec 4 the sparkplugs i dont think they have the compresed gaskets on them. i bought GMfactory replacements.
how easily can a fuel filter be chanded? and please desribe
Nick
thanks
If you're worried about fuel when cranking it over, just unclip the electrical connectors on the fuel injectors, or (possibly easier) pull a fuse or relay or whatever for the fuel pump.
I think sparkplugs should be to about 20 ft/lbs (maybe a little lower)
the fuel filter isn't that bad, as long if you're careful with the "quick-connect" fitting when taking the old one out
It's located by the rear-passenger wheel, just behind the fuel tank. One side of the filter is screwed/bolted on, the other has a fitting that you should be able to figure out if you look at it for a second.
