my wipers work but when i shut them off they stay up on the windshield . . . do i need a new motor or is it something else?? Also how much is a new motor ??

Do you have the "parking" wipers? I mean, do they stop, then go lower... onto those stops on the black plastic piece? If so.. those were the most notorious pieces of junk... the 'parking' wiper motors. They die all the time.

But yeah... no matter.... either way you'll likely need a new motor. Unless you don't care if they don't "park". They switched to a non-parking motor on the newer 98+ or so cars...

yea that crap would stop at the black and then go onto the stops . . now they just stay up on the windshield it you put the switch in the "off" position
