'99, 2.2l, bunch of aftermarket crap, not sure what turbo, but anyways. The car will not start unless it is jumped, but the battery still has over 11, close to 12 volts. And it will only start if you give it gas, and keep you foot on the gas about 2k, otherwise it dies. If you keep it at 2k, it runs perfect for 2k. What could it be?
battery should be at 12.6v when the car is off......you could have voltage all day , but if the battery is tired and does not have the amperageto crank the motor then, forget it
battery....take it to your local autozone and get it checked out....BTW post some pics of this turbo 2.2.....im sure more people than me would like to check it out.
