Yeah, um... I put 2.2L of oil in my car when I did my oil change... I be back to Autozone TMRW... WTH was i thinking
don't feel too bad, i've forgot to put the drain plug back in, can't really hear the oil until it is just aboot to overflow. man i felt like a tard, as a bonus i had no more oil and it was sunday and everything was closed.
True stroy...
I was at wal mart, checking out all their great auto parts, and I hear some lady talking on the phone (im assuming with her husband) about what kind of oil to get.
I over hear that she drives a tahoe, and she repeated "10w40" on the phone. And Im jsut thinking to myself 'good job'. She also repeated "5 bottles".
Well she grabs 5 - 5 quart bottles and throws em in her cart.
I start laughing to myself.
She goes her way, and I go mine.
About 20 minutes later I walk out and see a tahoe one row over and about 10 cars down with its hood open. I start laughing and say out loud "you have got to be @!#$ting me".
So I stand at my car, and jsut watch. Sure enough I see a dipstick come up. At least she has the right hole...
Next I see a 5-quart bottle of oil... one of five. Bottom's up...
Then it all happened so fast...
"@!#$" she says as she throws the bottle to ground. Whips out her cell phone...
I drove by and jsut stared. Was quite amusing.

just drain it. i dont know if its alright to drive w/ way too much oil. just drain it and pour it back in til it reads on the right spot on the dipstick. if you just did it, i assume its still good oil so you can just put it back in

Um in didnt put too much.. I didnt put enough. My car take 5L i put 2.2...
yeah dont drive with too much oil....it causes hydro-lock....and anything dealing with engines and the work "lock" you know isnt good
yeah but he didn't put too much... just didn't put enough... all he has to do is add some.. he's just telling us what he did, just for @!#$s and giggles... he's not asking what to do
