whenever i turn to the right, my front right wheel (most logical guess), makes a squeeking/grinding type of sound, but only when i turn to the right. when i make left turns and when i drive straight its fine, its just when i nudge it over a bit it starts to make the noise....
bearings are tight, maybe the brake are going bad?
any info would be great...

Hey man, my front left wheel is doing the exact same thing. You can hear it literally when you move the wheel an inch to the 1 side... Sounds horrible right? It started off doing that only when I turned left, but now when I brake, if i ride the brake a bit it squeals, and when I brake hard its fine. The noise is definitely coming from the 1 wheel. My brakes are all screwed anyway (weird noise coming from rear brake as well) I'm getting them looked at on Thursday... I was told its the brake pad (easy $30.00 fix) but I'm not 100% on it. I have the same car too, 96 Z24. If no one posts on what it is by then I'll let you know what they did to fix it.
It's telling you that you need to replace your brake pads. They're very easy to change.

awesome raywin... tell me what the shop does, and if it gets fixed... its a rather disturbing sound
It is possable that your tie rod end is bent. Try spraying some litium grease n the ends and seeing if it kills the noise.

I have the exact same problem and haven't been able to diagose it. It makes a loud humming while turning left. It's not the brakes because it will do it even when I am stopped. Anyone know what this is??

Are you sure there isn't a rock in the brakes??? Just a suggestion. We were on vacation last year and had the same thing happen and we had no idea what was goin on. We went to a brake place, they found the rock and took it out and no more sqeeking.
