Hey guys I dont know if you'll be able to help me but if you can give my any idea of what is goin on it may be helpful. My 1999 Z24 makes a really high pitched noise from the engine sometimes when I start it up or am idling, I dont really hear it while driving but that may be because of road noise and it also makes this noise while driving 160km/h or faster but at that speed the noise is very, very loud... I know that you probably cant tell me what it may be without hearing teh noise but I thought I would ask anyways. Thanks

It sounds to me like your belt could be wearing down. That usually happens when your car hits high milage... I had that done to my car 6 months ago witl like 90k miles on it. It sounded the same as you described, at start and at idle, and louder and faster as I went faster




The term 'stock' is COMPLETELY relative...
