Hey, if anyone could help out it would be greatly appriecated. I have a 2000 z24 and have a burnt out fog light, the dealer wants $25 a bulb, is there anyone else who makes replacement bulbs for the stock lights? If so could you give me the part number because I can't find it. Thanks
fogs are 880, any auto parts store should carry them
14.82 @ 97 mph
I don't know if you'd have the same bulb as my fogs for a 2004 sunfire, but they are 880ST and just under $20 a piece at walmart
if their $20 a piece at walmart, why not pay the extra 5 bucks and get factory replacement...we all know walmart...
HONDAS ARE LIKE TAMPONS…EVERY PU**Y NEEDS ONE!
880, 893 and 885 will all fit. Only difference is the watts
880=27watts
893=37.5watts
885=50watts

Dumb question of the day is this. Can I put the higher wattage bulb in to get more light, or will the factory set up only support the normal wattage. I cant see crap with my headlights and foglights, I hate it.
Cool thanks for the help guys
I did not search before I put in the higher wattage bulbs, and guess what---------the higher wattage bulbs will get the metal reflector inside the housing too hot and that reflector will slowly start to melt the fog light housing.
I will now be replacing both fog light assemblies and buying 2 new bulbs of the correct wattage to the cost of over a $100 .
Live and learn by your mistakes!
I can see just fine with all my lights on.
buy the 893. its brighter than stock and will not burn out the housing. DO NOT get the 885. 50w is too much. i would suggest some sylvania silverstar 893st. they are a little expensive but will last longer and are the brightest bulbs available. you can probably find them cheaper on ebay.
Peace Out!!!
DO NOT GET THE 893!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My housing did exactly what Enrique said and it cost me about $100 for each foglight assembly. Just stick to 880 bulbs. Sylvania makes some 880's and won't burn your housing just make sure the new bulb matches the same rating that are printed on both bulbs.
That's what I have, the Sylvania 880ST's and that is what was $20 a piece at wallyworld, so as long as it's just a light, nothing wrong with saving a few bucks
if you have a sunfire and melt your housings just buy a set of 4" fog lights and install those. i have a set of 4" apc glowlights mounted behind the grills on my 03 fire and i have absolutely no problems seeing. they are very bright.
