I have a 2001 bone stock (for now) 2200 cavy.
The problem: THere is a really annoying squeaking sound comming from the front right side. Dirty bushings or what? The sound occurs when hitting even minute potholes or eneven spots. Disgusting on railroad tracks.
Is this a common problem with the cheap j body platform? It's odd to me that it's just the front right side. It'sjust getting quite annoying.
I'm guessing it's not at all a problem for anyone else
. Can a mod move this to "suspension and brakes" for me? Cross posting is against the rules and I'm sure this is a suspension problem.
don't know what type of squeaking sound it is, but i had to get my exhaust heat shield bent out of the way on my 02 when it was brand new cause when i went over very small potholes or uneven surfaces it would hit the exhaust and squeak. It sounded like it was coming from everywhere...maybe something to check out.
