I just picked up another 2000, 112K miles on the odometer, bad head gasket and now rod knocking.... So anyway, I don't see why everyone says it has to be dropped with the trans and subframe? What am I missing here?
So, prepping a low mileage 2.2L motor to be swapped into a 2000 Cavalier, should I do anything besides checking the head, new head gasket, timing chain, oil pump, water pump, and fresh gaskets? Plugs, wires, and probably a new coil, too.
