Hi, I have a 1986 Chevy Cavalier z24 with the 2.8. Its rumbling like it wants to star for a few seconds and will even start for a second, but then dies like it has no fuel. I'll start from the beginning. The car was jumped with the poles reversed. That blew one fuse and smoked the fuel pump. The pump has been replaced and all of the fuses under the dash and the two under the hood have been changed. I've tried starting fluid into the throttle body and had the same result. Another thing I should mention, the radio will no longer turn on after the pole reversal, everything else seems to work. Thanks
I have a TPS sensor on order and I am also thinking it could be the oil pressure sensor. Any Advice would help.
