2000 cav coupe. The doors on this car have never stayed open on their own and rarely if they ever do. I noticed there are springs inside the hinges and I suppose that's where the problem is. Do I need to replace the hinges or is there a fix I don't know about?
U could try placing a washer behind one side of the bracket. Might need to adjust the door striker

I'll have to fiddle with it to troubleshoot a bit more. Im starting to think its the "roller" in the hinge assembly because i dont feel it shift between open positions, it just swings freely once the latch releases. Thanks for the suggestions!
