So today after i got out of class, i was on my way to work and as usual, my ETS and ABS light were on. But while driving, they shut off. about 30 seconds later, just the ets light turned on. another 30 seconds and it shut off. it did this about 4 times. on and off. no CEL is on(i have the P0172 code, but it doesnt trigger the CEL). When this started happening, the car started sputtering and would starve when i pressed the gas. i coasted into a gas station and put some gas in, thinking maybe my gas gauge wasnt reading correctly(it was close to E but not quite). Started it up and all was fine. Any reason why the ETS light would have done that? Never encountered anything like that before, and i have a hard time believing its from running out of gas.
