Bought a 01 Cavalier last night, it died at the gas station due to a weak battery got my friend to help me bomb start it, it ran all exterior lamps worked , stereo worked, heater, wipers, highbeams ect.. but I had no dash illumination or ABS warning lamps or odometer lights, turned off the car, turned back on, no lamps, so I drove the car 2 hours home, turn off the car turned the key back on and only had one light, light up in the cluster then I hit the dash and all came on, what gives?

Check your grounds or your cluster might be taking a dump.
