So here lately my cavalier has been acting funny when I start the car. It tends to have a very rough idle and it smokes and a strong fuel smell comes from the exhaust. It only does on warm startup tho, not on a cold start. I've replaced the plugs, the coil boots, coil housing, and fuel filter. I'm kinda at a stump here trying to figure out what the problem is. Any ideas?
IAC sensor would be my first place to look at.

Check your oxygen sensors too.... if its reading wrong it will dump fuel

Yeah I know that one of my o2 sensors are bad cause of my CEL. Thx for the input
When it starts this, look under your car for any heat coming off your catalytic converter. If you have a bad o2 sensor and you're dumping fuel, it's probably going straight into damaging your cat and it's likely being burnt up at the cat so you'll possibly smell fuel. Mine was literally glowing bright red from the heat and my cat was dead by time it was discovered - the internals were burnt up.
