I've searched, and the best answer I've found is either the connector under the dash burning and causing the rear defog not to work or the relay being shot

My problem is that my connector is good, and I dont know how to check the relay, but when I push the button, I get 8V at the rear window... and obviously doesn't heat up the defoggers to clear my window

Would this indicate the relay, and if so, does anyone have the part number to what I should change it with since GM doesn't replace just the relay?

Could indicate the relay. Could also be a half-burned-out fuse, which would be an easy check.

I'll look into it a little and get back.
