Anybody have a recommendation on a good quality brand front hub? I'm replacing a timkin, after just over a year and about 12,000 miles so I'd like something that will last a bit longer. Is there any aftermarket brands that last as well as OEM? I had thought maybe duralast, haven't had too many problems with their chassis parts, but what do you guys use? Anything in particular?
Timkin should have a lifetime warranty on it.. I would take it back to the store you got it from and see if you can get a new one.
Problem is it was replaced under warranty when I bought the car by the dealership where I bought it.
According to autozone, Timkin has a 1 year warranty. Maybe thats just through them?
I bought NAPA hubs, for my 01 cavy. So far there are smooth. I bought expensive ones few years back they crapped out. napa ones are still going strong after 1 yr running.
If you aren't killing them in a year you aren't racing hard enough, lol
I hear O'Reillys has lifetime warranty bearings though.

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
^^ Lol. I'll have to look into O-Reilly's, but it'll be through the web-site. There's no O'Reilly's around here.
AC Delco

ac delco i have bought aftermarkets and they just aren't as good

^^ Yeah I've been finding that to be true pretty much for everything.
Guess I'll just shell out for an OEM. Better doing it now than later.
I went with a front set of Napa premium hubs no issues now. over 30,000kms still smooth.
