I was wondering if the 2.3 balance shaft chain, tensioner, and chain sprockets are the same as the 2.4s. I was wanting to replace all of these parts on my car and can't find the parts anywhere for the 2.3... It seems to also be no longer available from GM. I have no interest to do the older 2.3 oil pump swap. I don't plan on pushing any more power and the stock setup has held up pretty well thus far.
I seriously looked all over the place and called a couple of places... and can't get a definite answer. I know the oil pumps are the same... so I also kinda figured the entire Balance shaft setup is the same. It is dumb logic and I do see some flaws with thinking this... so HELP!!! lol
Also... I apologize now if I posted in the wrong area... Hope I can get some good 1995 owners in here to help.
