Blazer fuel pump - do not use

So my fuel pump died, and instead of just ordering one online, I opted for the Blazer pump locally. I had slightly less than half a tank, so I dropped it and hooked it up. One major difference between the J fuel pump and the Blazer fuel pump is the lack of venturi on the pump. There's a hose that connects to a very small nipple on the J pump which sucks fuel from the tank and fills up the cup where the pump sits in, which in turn the pump then pushes the fuel to your engine. Without that, the cup does not stay full, and there's issues with keeping the car running. The Blazer pump does not have this. You can get the car started and semi running, but forget giving it any more than 1/4 throttle or it does out. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I know some guys have had good luck with the Blazer pump, but I'm not seeing how unless you got a lot of gas in the car constantly. This is a 97 Sunfire BTW.

Most all people with the blazer pump modified the cup so it actually works like it is suppose to. Also, the racetronix w-pump is a bolt in.

I'm actually doing a whole new sending unit. My connector at the fuel filter is starting to leak and all three of my lines are kinked.
