So on my 01 z24. all original except water pump and timing chain. but today i was driving and the battery light would come on, then ABS, air bag, then brake, slow wipers. eventually all went away but no interior lights but the dome and slow wipers still. 20 miles later they battery and ABS light came on, so i cut it off and started it up, everything was perfect again. got home few miles later, disconnected the battery and filled up the cells. then went back out and few mile slater the batt light came on and off, then all the others, then radio and interior lights went out then my speedo& rpm guage went out. then it died out on me on the highway. now just clicks and no start. ALternator would be my guess ya think? I have been hearing a ticking from it thr past 3 months anyways.

First I would check all connections, clean and tighten them ( both batt terminals plus the ground ) also both connections at the alt.,second have the alt checked and the battery too.You may need to replace one of them or both...good luck
