past 2 days my car has ran like crap, major loss of power and running rich. the check engine came on and it said my car was running too rich and lean at the same time and i also have crap for gas milage and the car doesnt like to idle after its warmed up..anybody got other ideas? i have a 97 2.2 3sp
most of the time something is causing the o2 to read that way, plugs and all are good?
havnt checked the plugs yet..actually waiting for my car to cool down to go do that, iv searched and it sounds like the 02 sensor. i replaced the plugs bout 10 mnths ago havnt done the wires yet..but when idling it will get down to like 500rpms and sound rough then jump back up..and i have major black suit in my tail pipe..also thought maybe my injectors could be clogged
went and checked the plugs and theyre black, looks like its been running rich...so i cant afford any plugs yet but ill get them in the next week or 2 but i did clean them up..im goin to pick up a 02 sensor tomorrow hopefully ill get it running good
