anyone have an idea what the problem is? this car seems like an amazing buy just wondering if the thing he's talking about is the same as the cluster swap theft system where you leave the key in for 15 min or something like that?

Well, first off, 900 isnt bad, but I would offer him around 700 for the car. Especially since its not running. If he did the headgasket, and not has no spark, there is another issue. I have done a few head gaskets on the 2.2's and never had another issue with them. The passlock will not reset itself just because you had the battery unhooked. Something is more wrong. If he has no spark he either A. Cut a wire going to the ICM. B. Just coincidence the ICM went bad at the same time. C. Had no idea WTF he was doing, and messed it up worse then before. If you buy it, get it for as low as possible especially since its not running. And start swapping parts from ur white one to that one till you fix it. And im sorry, but the 2.2 w/ a manual trans is nothing special like he is making it out to be. Goodluck.

yeah sorry no cavalier not running with a 2.2 and a manual is not worth 900 no way in hell lol. hell i just bought a nice 98 z24, running in great shape for less hgen that, and now im gonna sell that for 2500 . just sayin lol. not running 700 to me would be generous as hell. i love how people think they have goldmines and ask crazy amounts of money for them. oh and before anyone says anything abt the z i picked up it only has 81000 original on it so yeah i got it for a damn steal
