I have a 99 ld9 and am going to be replacing the fuel lines in the engine compartment. I have all the lines and the correct fittings to mate to the stock quick connect fittings by the master cylinder.
My question is about the factory quick connect fittings. Do the require the use of a release tool or do they have the tabs that can be squeezed?
I honestly never think to look when I'm working on the car or in the garage by it. I have the tools if need be, just would like to actually know before attempting removal.
Thanks in advance.

You do need those little clip releasers. The tings they sell at autozone for the ac lines and such. There red blue white black and such. Just pop off the big clip around the line, then find the one that works, and push in, and it will unclip.
Sounds good, I have 2 different types so I know I have the right one.
Thanks for the help.
