hey im having some serious electrical problems with my sunfire.
1. the instrument cluster doesn't work unless i hit the dash (then it will work)
2. the car will start for a second and then stall out
anyone who can help i would really appreciate it

Get a new cluster. Your second one sounds like passlock, if the cluster, passlock stuff at the key or pcm go south, it'll do just that. Any theft lights?




Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.

yea the security light flashes
on my third cluster third cluster already the first wen then the second went and now this one is going is there any way to stop this?
ive already had to replace the starter twice, the alternator, the battery, the ignition switch, module, and lock cylinder and now the cluster again
i love me sunfire but this is getting insane

Hop in the car. Start the car, it'll die. Don't touch the ignition switch. leave it like that for 10 minutes, the light will go solid. Turn ignition off for 10 seconds, then start.
