I just bought a 2005 Sunfire to replace my 1997 Cavalier. I noticed that the automatic transmission indicator does not light up when the dash lights are on. Is this normal or should it be lit? My Cavalier had the indicator on the instrument cluster but it did not light up on the console. If it should light up I did see that you need to remove the console to get at the bulb, which according to another post is a 194. My only question is should this be a red/orange bulb to match the dash lights? And if so where do you find a bulb like that? Thanks
Hate to bump this but I could use any thoughts from those of you who have an 05 Sunfire. I just want to know if the indicator should be lit with the dash lights and what bulb I need to use. Thanks
They should light up but I don't know the bulb or how to get to it.
