Done some research here and most everything I see is for 1996. I have a 99 GT 2.4 with about 93,000 miles. My oil light came on about a week ago with a cold start. I checked the oil and it was down maybe a quart. Added it and light went off. Put about 400 miles on then it did it again from a cold start. Checked oil, wasn't really low, started car and light was off. Did a fresh oil change with 10w30 and started it up and drove it 35 miles, everything fine. This morning wife gets in and the lights on. She shuts the car off, I go outside 2 minutes later, turn the car on and the lights not on. From what I read it's either the sensor or oil pressure. If sensor, where is it on a 99? 96 says its on the pan but I can find it anywhere. If it's pressure then what's the fix, a new oil pump?
