I'm Brent I'm new to the site. I have a Q. My gf bought a 97 cavalier a few months ago and last night, it started to shutter and stalled out. I know it was low on oil but i dont;' think it'll cause a stall. I filled the oil some. ANy ideads?

You might have to help us out a bit more here. How low on oil? How much did you add? Does the car turn over? Does it try to start? Does it have gas in it? etc.

Oh sorry. There was only about an 8th left on the stick and i added about 3/4. Well it starts fine. It stalled out at a light when she stopped. But she started it right back up. No other problem though.
When my 97 cav was doing that it was the plug wires and I think the coil packs. I have a thread on here somewhere.
