wheel cylinders

trying to replace wheel cylinders on my 00 cavalier. Can't get the stupid thing out without removing the hub, theres just physically no room to move it out. So i took out the 4 bolts holding it on (T-50, not 55 like the haynes manual says for future reference). Now the hub assembly is stuck to the backing plate. It should pull out now, correct? Do I have to remove the wheel speed sensor? I think its part of the whole assembly, but i'd like to give the whole thing a few good whacks from behind if I can remove that plastic piece. Any tips?

hub is all one assembly. though you have to unplug the sensor first. but if you loosen them you should be able to get the cylinder off

If I loosen what? I have the 4 bolts out, but the damn things stuck on there good, cylinder won't come out until the hub is totally removed.

Did you remove the center Axle bolt?

time to get out the Ford tool. (big hammer)

As a heads up for reassembly: I'm not 100% sure about yours but on the other style there are 2 different p#'s: one driver, the other passenger due to the angles of them.
