Hi,
Just wanted to get some help from the car experts on what kind of Tune Up or Maintanence I should be looking to do on my 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier at this point. The car is now at 113,000KM and I have only really done regular oil changes.
The car is still great - but I can feel not totally smooth as it used to be when I bought it brand new.
At times I get a little rough idling, somethings chugging when at a stop, sometimes rough starts or struggling to start. Would love to get this all fixed.
Please let me know what the main things around this milage are to get done. Should I also be getting my water pump done?
I am guessing fuel filter and spark plugs right now? anything else?
Thanks in advance for the help.
I'd start with plugs, and filter and a good engine bath if it is dirty, how does your coolant look?

Looks clean still to me...so you think maybe a flush of the coolant and tranny as well would be good?
Sparkplugs and Fuel Filter ?
What do you mean engine bath, just a cleaning of the engine?
yea just cleaning the engine.
here would be my suggestion
oil change, spark plugs, engine bath, tranny fluid, coolant flush and filter change, fuel filter, air filter, and put a can of seafoam, (or what ever cleaner you like) in the tank

it really depends on what and where you go to be honest.
Go up to a parts store and have a chit-chat. but remember ac delco plugs and dexcool for the coolant

Can you tell me exactly what model AC Delco Spark Plugs are good?
Do you think my water pump should be replaced or just get it checked for now?
AC Delcos for our car are Iridiums. Only model for our car.
I would think the water pump should be fine.
Fuel filter. Throw some fuel system cleaner/seafoam in the tank. Dex Cool coolant. Maybe change the power steering fluid. Tranny fluid and filter change. Go full synthetic in oil.
That's all I got. You could seafoam the upper intake with a vacuum line if you wanted.
I think the wp is fine. it's not leaking is it?
