OB2 scanner wont load anything... wont even turn on when connected to my brothers 01 z24.
He has a sputtering and surging problem that I decided to look into for him.
the scanner works fine on my 05 w/sc flash and also on my gf's 96 z24
Can I swap the pcm from the gfs to my bros to check?
no you cant swap them out the 96 and 01 pcms are completely different plugs.
Before you swap the pcm, check the fuse for the cigarette lighter. If it is blown the lighter as well as the OBD2 connector will not get power. My Sunfire had the same problem when I bought it, and replacing the fuse solved the problem.
