ok, so i let my car sit in my garage all weekend. i went to start it up sunday and it was dead. so i jumped it with my dads truck. now where it would normally say the amount of miles it says error and the service light is on. but all my gauges work perfectly. any ideas?

Unplug it and wait 30 seconds. Plug it back in and see if that changes anything. Sounds stupid I know but the newer modules (cluster included) have logic and it can @!#$ up from time to time. Removing all power and communication sources from it will reset the logic. Usual work after that. If that doesnt work you may have a bigger problem.
