reverse lights

I tried searching this, but no luck. I had a shop Slow Joe's put in some strobe lights where my reverse lights are and the same day I had a new clutch and shifter cable put in by another shop. Now, my reverse lights don't work. I have checked the reverse lights, and all seems well with them. My question is, is there some sort of wire or switch that works with the shifter when put in reverse that the shop forgot to put back? I just need them to work. I dont think it is the strobes interferring with it. But rather when I had the shifter cable put in it screwed something up. Can someone help me remedy this so I can back up safely?

Yes there is a sensor on the back of the tranny. I know for a 00+ it is the same plug as another sensor and can get swapped if not careful.

thanks alot, can you or anyone be more specific about where it is located at on the tranny and what it looks like so I dont get the 2 plugs mixed up when I take a look after work today? Do you know what the other plug is for? And do you think this is where my prolem lies? Thanks in advance.
