Just wonder where i can get a engine rebuild kit for them its a 2.4l and recomends

Whats wrong with your engine? For the cost of a rebuild, you can get a decent, low mile engine from a scrap year. Look here to find one near your area. Best to get a 99-02 2.4 if you already have a 99.

well im buy it off some kid he said its needs a motor im payin 600 canadain for it and its mint just needs a 2.4 are these bad year or anything

Soo what year engines can go in there then 99-02 then will work outta a cav or sunfire

you are gonna have to find a 99. the 2000-02 are slightly different... or so they say...

They are just fine as long as you take care of them. Neglect the oil and they will repay you with a wonderful repair bill.

Soo dies it have to be from a 99 sunfire the engine why they soo much to rebuild theres a kit on ebay for 600

yeah it will have to be a 99. and do you have a link to that rebuild, it might not be very good. but the only problem you can run into, aside from routine maintenance, is problems with the oil. just check it regularly like your supposed to and you will be fine. i have spun a rod bearing in one engine and threw a rod in another, all because i was a little low, and i mean literally a little...
