Hi guys, ever since i've had my car the lowest two blower settings haven't worked, per the sticky at the top here. I ignored it and made do with settings 3 and 4. But now setting 3 has died and I can only use my blower on the highest setting Should I just go ahead and replace the resistor per the sticky, or is something else at play?

Car is a 1998 Cavalier with 102k miles...
