So my car keeps throwing a check engine light for catalyst system low efficiency, and I was just wondering if that means I need a new cat? I was running untuned for a while and dumping lots of extra fuel in to it, so this is what I am guessing. Could someone please help me out. Thanks!
If you were dumping a bunch of fuel into your exhaust system, your cat is probably dead.
