I have a 2004 Chevy Cavalier. Mostly when its cold out side I notice that when I turn left at low speeds I hear a really bad grinding noise. It doesn't do it when I turn right or while I'm driving at faster speeds. When I say low speed I mean like 1-7 mph. Any help.
Also when I was putting my sound system in I removed the intake to access the battery better and noiced there was oil in there. I then started my car and noitced black specs coming from the muffler. I'm pretty sure thats a head gasket. Just trying to get it confirmend.
well from what it sounds like is a wheel bearing. but also could be something else. but sounds like the bearing. i had the same problem. the only way i found out is i jacked my car up and tried to move the tire. and it was loose so i just replaced the wheel bearing. perfect after that. but the leak dont know. the only thing i could think is brake fluid or clutch. but only if your is stick. but if you are stick check the clutch fluid. sorry if this did not help
