Well time has come to change my lovely serpentine belt and yes I have made sure that is the belt that needs changing..... any tips on how to make sure it is seated properly??? I have picked up the proper goodwrench gatorback poly-v belt but it seems to be a very tight area to work in.... I did use the search function however it was not much help.. more of just help diagnosing the problem
if its in the center of all the pullies, then its seated properly. if you cant get it all the way on one pulley, get it most of the way on then using any means you can, spin one pulley to drive the system. it'll seat itself.

sounds good.... any tips on how to get it on? haha I have a good belt diagram (couldn't find the one inside the engine bay) but its still a pretty tight area...
yea its pretty chrunched up in there.
all you have to do is move the tensioner counter clockwise and it should relive the tension enough to barely slide it on there
you rotate the tensioner by puttin a socket on the end and jsut pullin
its a 1/2 size i think.
and like he said as long as you have it pretty close then it will straighten itself out.
makes it a ton eaiser if you take off the wheel and splash shield and put it up on jack stands if you feel like spending the time to do that.

Perfect ya I knew how to remove the tension I was just worried about getting it properly seated on the back pulley so I think i'll take off the wheel/splash gaurd.... that only takes 5 mins max... (done it many times).. thanks for the input.... I hope this gatorback works good
