My freakin car won't start! I turn the key ok i hear it trying to start but it just doesn't. The battery is fine. I think i might have blew something too. I stepped on the gas hoping to get it going and then i heard a pop and some smoke come from the engine bay. Bad sign i guess. Can anybody tell me whats wrong?! How am I gonna get to school now?!

Do you have spark or fuel? Have you looked around the engine to see if anything has come disconnected?

It sounds like it backfired out the intake - so you probably have fuel and spark - likely too much fuel.
Try it again after letting it sit for a while. If it still doesn't want to go, hold the gas pedal to the floor and try again - let it crank a few times. This shuts off the fuel during cranking to help clear a flooded condition. If it does start, back off the throttle and keep it around 2000 rpm until it runs smooth.
It may be time for new spark plugs if you haven't done that before. Poor quality gas can cause cold start problems too. There are too many things that COULD cause this to go through each without more detail available.
