so i have a 2000 z24 my car starts fine when i havent drove it for awhile and the engine is cold and everything.. but when i drive it for awhile and the engine gets warm then when i shut my car off and leave it for like 15 mins and i come back it seems like it cranks slower or takes more time for it to start(i cant tell which one) but when i give it some gas it usually starts. any idea on the problem? its not the battery its brand new
what if you push the gas pedal all the way to the floor and then try to start it?
how does it handle after it starts?
it could be that the alternator operates fine when is cold but after running for a period of time it doesn't want to charge. (I think...)
i got my alt tested not that long ago and if leave it sit for awhile and let it cool down it starts fine
