i have a 1997 cavi with a 2.2 liter auto and it will crank but it wont fire and im not hearing the fuel pump turn on the battery kept having charging issues. if you drove it every day it was fine but if you let it sit it wouldnt start and have to be jumped. so i went and got a new battery put it in and now it wont start i realy dont no whats going on i checked all my fuses and everything. i have had computer issues with it before but had them all fixed. also if you use a diagnastic tool in the port under the dash it comes back unable to read codes so im realy lost and dont no where to go next. any ideas or comments welcome

can you jump start the car? Check Alternator if that's the case.

Make sure the ignition is on when trying to read codes, if it is then there is most likely a computer issue.
